Valentine’s Day 2027 is Sunday, Feb. 14. Daytona Beach’s best-known Valentine’s tradition is the Wine & Chocolate Walk through the Riverfront Shops on Beach Street, held the weekend before. Because the holiday falls on a Sunday, weekend brunch by the ocean is an option this year, alongside dinner, a film downtown or a sunset on the river.

Wine & Chocolate Walk

The 15th Annual Wine & Chocolate Walk was 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, on Beach Street downtown, according to the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach. Ticket holders pick up a passport, a wine glass and tasting tickets at one of two check-in points, one on North Beach Street and one on South Beach Street, and walk the shops. The organizers time it just before Valentine’s Day. The 2027 date is not out yet; we will post it here when it is.

Valentine’s brunch on Sunday, Feb. 14

  • Brunch Remix, Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach, 918 N. Atlantic Ave.: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, beachside, with live music from local bands on Sundays (Hard Rock).
  • Mama Foo Foo, 125 Basin St., on the marina: open from 10:30 a.m. Sundays, with lunch and brunch until 3:30 p.m. (Mama Foo Foo).

Date ideas

  • A film downtown. Cinematique of Daytona, 242 S. Beach St., is a nonprofit arthouse cinema in the historic downtown that also hosts live music and comedy (Cinematique).
  • A show at the Peabody. Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., books touring concerts and comedy; February 2027 shows will appear on its calendar.
  • Sunset on the river. The Riverfront Esplanade runs more than a mile along the Halifax River downtown, with benches and swings, and the south side stays open until 9 p.m. (Riverfront Esplanade).
  • Sunrise on the pier. The Daytona Beach Pier stretches into the Atlantic at the east end of Main Street, facing the sunrise.
