Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Daytona Beach has one enclosed mall, an outlet center by I-95, a beachside shopping complex and the independent stores of Beach Street downtown. None of the centers had posted 2026 holiday hours as of Oct. 8. The same weekend, the Daytona Turkey Run brings thousands of visitors to the speedway, next door to Volusia Mall.

Volusia Mall sits on International Speedway Boulevard across from Daytona International Speedway. Tanger Outlets opened in 2016 on Cornerstone Boulevard. We will add each center’s Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas Eve hours to the table when they are published.
Small Business Saturday downtown
The Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach are the independent stores, galleries and restaurants along Beach Street between Orange Avenue and Main Street. Parking is free in front of the shops and in public lots behind them, according to the Riverfront Shops’ parking map.

The Holiday Bazaar sells gifts from local makers under the Esplanade’s holiday lights. In 2025 it ran 6 to 9 p.m. on Fridays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19, according to the Riverfront Shops. The 2026 dates are not out yet. The full December program is on our holiday lights and Christmas events page.
Traffic and parking
- Speedway weekend: the 53rd Daytona Turkey Run runs Nov. 25-29 in the speedway infield, across International Speedway Boulevard from Volusia Mall. Expect heavy traffic on the boulevard all weekend. See our Thanksgiving page.
- Magic of Lights opens Nov. 20 at the speedway, with cars lining up from 7 p.m. over Thanksgiving week.
- Road work: check our road construction and closures page before you go; A1A and several mainland roads are under construction this fall.
- Votran, the county bus system, runs fixed routes through the city; see getting around.
