Last checked Oct. 8, 2026. This page is updated each year. The details below are from the 2026 celebration, as published by the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau in May 2026. The 2027 schedule has not been announced; we will update this page when it is.

Daytona Beach celebrates the Fourth of July in two places: a morning Veterans Parade on Main Street and an evening tribute concert at the oceanfront Bandshell, followed by fireworks over the Atlantic. In 2026, the nation’s 250th birthday, the July 4 events fell on a Saturday and both were free.

Who to call

How the 2026 celebration ran

When What Where
7:15 p.m. Friday, July 3 U.S. Bee Gees tribute concert Daytona Beach Bandshell
10 a.m. Saturday, July 4 Fourth of July Veterans Parade Main Street, from Atlantic Avenue west to the base of the Main Street Bridge
7:15 p.m. Saturday, July 4 The Alter Eagles tribute concert, then fireworks over the ocean Daytona Beach Bandshell and Main Street Pier

The parade. The city’s Veterans Parade features local military organizations, combat veterans and the city’s police and fire departments, according to the visitors bureau. It runs west along Main Street, the beachside’s historic strip, from Atlantic Avenue to the foot of the Main Street Bridge.

The concert and fireworks. The Bandshell’s Star-Spangled Summer Concert Series puts on a free tribute concert each holiday night; in 2026 it was The Alter Eagles. Fireworks follow over the ocean, launched near the Main Street Pier. General admission is free. Reserved VIP seats were sold separately.

Where to watch

The Bandshell sits in Oceanfront Park beside the boardwalk, close to the Main Street Pier. The concert seating is the closest view; the beach and boardwalk near the pier also face the water where the show goes up.

Nearby shows

Neighboring cities run their own celebrations, according to the visitors bureau:

  • Ormond Beach, about seven miles north: live music, food vendors and fireworks around Rockefeller Gardens, City Hall Plaza and Fortunato Park.
  • Port Orange, about seven miles south: a festival and fireworks at City Center Park.

Fireworks at home

Florida law allows consumer fireworks to be used on three days a year: Independence Day (July 4), New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, under Florida Statutes section 791.08. That state law does not override local rules on where you can set them off, including on the beach. Ask the City of Daytona Beach at 386-671-8400 or Volusia County before July 4.

What this means for you

  • The parade starts at 10 a.m. and the concert at 7:15 p.m.; the fireworks follow the concert.
  • Watch from the Bandshell lawn or the beach near the Main Street Pier.
  • Both events were free in 2026.
  • Check back next spring for the 2027 schedule.
