Is it on this year?
Yes. The festival’s own site lists Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 and calls this the 64th annual festival, and the downtown event calendar run by the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach lists both days for 2026. The festival says it began in 1962 and is one of the longest-running juried art festivals in Florida, drawing more than 35,000 visitors each fall.
What is there
- Fine art. About 150 juried fine artists compete for cash awards. The festival’s awards page lists $21,800 in prizes, led by a $5,000 top award presented by the Downtown Development Authority and the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach.
- Craft vendors on the Riverfront Esplanade. The Esplanade vendor application is on the festival site.
- Live music, food and drinks along the festival route, the organizers say.
- Student art. The festival’s student exhibition shows more than 800 works by K-12 students from about 40 schools and homeschool programs in east Volusia County, in the Grand Lobby of the News-Journal Center, 221 N. Beach St. The Kiwanis Club of Daytona Beach puts up more than $3,000 in prizes. The festival’s page still shows last year’s student exhibition dates; we will add the 2026 hours when they are posted.
Who runs it
The festival has a new steward this year. The Riverfront Arts District, a nonprofit arts group, now leads it with Al Smith Productions, which handles site logistics, food vendors and entertainment, and the Riverfront Esplanade, the festival’s about page says.
Road closures and parking
The organizers and the city had not published street closure times for the festival when we checked.
