Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. In Daytona Beach that means Sunday brunch, much of it by the ocean, and, if the city repeats it, a free community meal for mothers at Daisy Stocking Park in Midtown. No 2027 Mother’s Day events had been announced as of Oct. 8.

The city’s Mother’s Day meal
In 2026 the city opened its Midtown Sundayz season on Mother’s Day with “Mini Meals for Mom,” 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 10, at Daisy Stocking Park, 555 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., according to the city’s announcement. A live DJ played, and free meals for mothers, catered by Greg’s Seafood, were served while supplies lasted. The series runs on second Sundays through December. 2027 details are not out yet.

The Riverfront Market on the Riverfront Esplanade, the Friday night market of local vendors downtown, is listed through April 16, 2027, with the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau; its May schedule has not been posted.
