- Every Volusia County high school earned an A or B, for the second year in a row.

- David C. Hinson Sr. Middle School and R.J. Longstreet Elementary School each improved from a B to an A.

- Eleven of the district’s 12 middle schools kept or raised their grade or their share of possible points.
Look up any school’s grade, test scores and report card on the Florida Department of Education’s school report cards. A school grade is one measure; the report card also shows attendance, graduation rates and teacher data.

- Two different approved proofs of address, such as a mortgage deed with proof of homestead exemption
Start the application online on the district’s new student registration page. Every student in the district can get free breakfast and lunch this year, according to the district.
